PS. You will see the tiniest group of away supporters ever at your ground I'm afraid.... I wouldn't worry about that mate, Wigan and Fulham usually bring around 5 or 6 Not strictly true, but I think Wimbledon (before they became the MK Dons), brought 11, and a few of the anglo italian cup games, clubs like Ancona didn't even make it to double figures, So we had to change the lyrics of "you must have come in a taxi" to "you must have come on a skateboard"

One hour to go and I'm on my way to England... Yes we won our last (derby) game away against Young Boys which is the team closest to our town (and a bunch of bloody idiots on and off the pitch) ;D It was the game with us as the league leaders against them as second placed team for the domestic league. They were dominant in the beginning, but we scored a penalty at the half an hour mark, afterwards our keeper Da Costa produced some fine saves before we finished the game off in the last few minutes with what was actually our second shot on goal... Da Costa will be suspended for his silly red card last Thursday. As I said before we lack offensive firepower to compete at this level. Given the rock solid defence of your lot, it would really be a miracle if we could turn fortunes around... Anyway it's nice to go back to England for a football game I wish everyone an entertaining game (and us a fabulous away win on penalties.... ) PS. You will see the tiniest group of away supporters ever at your ground I'm afraid.... have a good trip, and hopefully we'll see you about how did you get given that penalty for such a blatant dive? stevie wonder could see it was a dive

What was the line-up for the away leg, Chelsea and Norwich?
How have we been playing, Woody and Upson been any good?

V Chelsea
01 Begovic 04 Huth 17 Shawcross yellow card 39 Woodgate 06 Whelan 12 Wilson yellow card 16 Pennant 24 Delap (Pugh 71) 26 Etherington (Whitehead 62) 09 Jones (Shotton 86) 19 Walters
Played well. Typical underdog game, back against the wall type. Had a penalty shout with a Terry handball.
V Thun:
29 Sorensen 04 Huth yellow card (Wilkinson 50) 17 Shawcross 20 Upson 12 Wilson 14 Pugh 18 Whitehead 23 Tonge yellow card 26 Etherington yellow card (Arismendi 74) 09 Jones (Whelan 66) 19 Walters
Not easy viewing / listening. Went there for a draw / nick a goal, job done. They didn't really light it up either, didn't see the whole game. Job done.
V Norwich
01 Begovic 04 Huth 17 Shawcrossyellow card 39 Woodgateyellow card (Shotton 77) 06 Whelan 12 Wilson 16 Pennant (Pugh 31) 18 Whitehead 26 Etherington 09 Jones 19 Walters
Had a good 15-20 spell in the 1st, then put ourselves under constant pressure through terrible passing. Richie De Leat scored a set piece against us. we looked better in the second and put them under pressure, just no decent finishing until Shotton put a nice cross in for Kenny to plant it in.
Overall we're looking very threadbare, frighteningly so. Woody has looked decent enough so far, was fucking outstanding against Chelsea but he looked a little lost at times against Norwich. Haven't seen enough of Upson to comment, but think the general consensus is that he played alright.

Bit pissed off we didn't keep the clean sheet. Spose that the substitutions distracted the defense a little.
