One thing that worries me massively, mainly until Palacios was subbed for Whitehead, was the sheer lack of energy that's been the difference between us looking a great side and being this shower of one-dimensional shite that we've been ever since Christmas
Our whole gameplan, at a minimum, was based on an "up 'n' at 'em" attitude, closing down high up the field before retreating to two banks of four. We've lacked that lately and, coincidentally enough, our performances have dropped and so has our form
Granted, not playing two wingers at the same time hasn't helped things but our energy has just disappeared. We looked more like our old selves once Whitehead came on and we started getting the ball into the box a lot more. Personally, I think Whitehead is vastly underrated at times

He can let himself down at times but granted, our game changed for the better when Deano came on.
I hate blaming other things but I'm wondering if the fact we've already played a full seasons games really is having a mental and physical strain on the players? Still even after the short break earlier this year (internationals or sommet?), we still played wank with a low tempo.
So many questions...

Agreed with SRF, Whitehead is currently our bnest CM, with only Palacios with the potential to be better.
