Didn't realise I'd posted quite that many! And i didn't realise that i'd replied to every one of your threads with a daft answer........................until i was perma-banned the next day aswell ;D Best thing that could've happened really as it wasn't much fun toying with a certain member of the admin team who's had a sense of humour bypass. This gaff is miles better anyway

Keele Lakes are waaaaaay the best ponds My old stomping ground that place, I even have a favourite tree by the bottom lake, that you can sit in the roots, and it will hold your beer can up. Although the middle lake with the concrete plinth is cool, as you can sit on it and dangle your feet in (if you're not scared the pike will eat your toes), once went on it when the place was all frozen up at night. crumbled a box of fire lighters up, lit it, and kicked it out onto the ice, lit the whole place up and looked well spooky

It does feel like the GDB except for... The name (wank), we may as well take back the moniker "GDB" seeing as it's surplus to requirments on the oatie. A distinct lack of bums on seats. Reduced post counts (though I imagine boothers will take a jump now he's in singletown. Sneaky bastards have changed their user name during the jump

Ooooh Keele lakes, my old stomping ground as well. I suppose Dave that technically the bottom lake is the one on three? mile lane I once crossed the M6 just below Fortes with the full fishing gear

nope, nowhere near 3 mile lane , its not far north of the M6 and the dirt track (Lymes Rd i think) that runs off 3 mile lane across to Whitmore Rd. Its also not far from the woods above Geneva Drive

Reduced post counts (though I imagine boothers will take a jump now he's in singletown. Sneaky bastards have changed their user name during the jump The name's good and inspired after the number of times the old GDB was likened to a bunch of people in their local pub. However, I'm willing to put it to a vote to see what people think The post counts surprisingly are around about the same on this side of the board. What people need to realise is that we can actually talk about football without having a load of brainless arseholes jumping straight in. However, there's bugger all to talk about football wise at the moment so it's slightly difficult for the time being

not convinced by the current name, but its better than nothing.

We went down the Victoria Ground sort of route and just couldn't think of anything that clicked Open to suggestions though, that's how it works here
