What is up with N'Zonzi going forward? Twice he's just stopped and passed it backwards

FT.
Should have won. Still, not a bad result and a clean sheet.

What is up with N'Zonzi going forward? Twice he's just stopped and passed it backwards I think Tone and the cage really got to him. He's suffering from Stockholm syndrome. Now that he has been freed and is allowed to leave the cage, he still sympathises with the man who put him there in the first place.

Disappointed with the result, certainly deserved three points and they would've been ours but for some shite finishing.
Good point though, excellent performance.

What is up with N'Zonzi going forward? Twice he's just stopped and passed it backwards He's just too slow, on the first occasion unless he took an early shot he wouldn't have reached the goal before the defender got to him. On the second he maybe should have attempted the pass, even if the likelihood is that he would've been intercepted.

Buzzing with our start to the season. 3 big games coming up which will really show us how much we have changed...
Arsenal away. Hopefully we show some attacking intend and don't get turned over. I expect nothing.
Tranmere in the cup. Will be nice to go through, we should do.
Norwich at home. We weren't that convincing against Palace, will we dominate Norwich like we did City. That was always our downfall with Pulis...on it for the big clubs but not convincing and scraping results against less/ mid table teams.
3 points, GD still positive and through in the cup and my dick will be rock solid. Go on Mark!!

Good result, shouldve won by all accounts and still Man City can't beat us at home!
Taken from the BBC: "Tom, Manchester, via mobile on 81111: "Before City fans go completely crazy, I would like to point out, we play 7 games in the next 21 days. Squad rotation is therefore needed and to pick up a point at one of the toughest away fixtures of the league without the majority of our star players it's still a decent result. In Pellegrini I trust!"
You'd better fucking believe it. We are Stoke.

We were ace. Deserved the win and very happy with how the new guys look.
Very very positive stuff. Just hope Kenwyne's injury isn't too bad, he's easily our best striker in this system and played very well again today.

I think I've finally snapped with Walters after that miss today, that's four points he's cost us now this season
However, what a brilliant performance from start to finish. We've made a solid team in West Ham and title contenders in Man Citeh both look incredibly poor
Viva la revolution

Missed the game as we were swimming with dolphins but the Man City fan said we fucking trounced them and should have been 2-3 up. The Man United fan couldn't be added to get up to watch the game.
Really proud of what we are becoming and that Sparky's plan to get the Brit impenetrable again is more than words.
Bring on the Arse.

I thought our defence was magnificent today (oops yesterday ). Shawcross looked massively more confident in his new role of less lumping and more running. The initial confusion appears to be over and H&S look even better. Cameron at last is also looking much more comfortable in his role and I think he enjoys the freedom he is being given to go forward. Pieters looks like he's been playing for us for years. Made the Man City Millionaires look distinctively mediocre, the only saves that Bego had to deal with were easy ones which he could probably do in his sleep. What a great game, just need to score some of them chances!

Where did Arnie play when he came on then? How did Crouchie look when he came on?

Arnie was left mid. Crouch wasn't very good, there's a huge gulf in quality between him and Jones.

As Donks says, Marko was LW/LM and wasn't afraid to track back and work hard defensively which was surprising but good to see!
