Not many days to go now. I'm predicting a 2-1 win after the poor opening game. Peoples thoughts on this?

Hopefully we can counter attack with a bit more pace than we did against Aston Villa and get a couple of goals. Hull are a decent team at home, so we need a much better performance.

I pretty much fancy us to win every game apart from away at the top 6 these days, which is annoying because in reality we're nowhere near that good.

They're in Belgium tonight and Snodgrass is out for 6 months (or weeks?) which is good. I'd take a 1-1.

Reckon a draw is probably on the cards.
We all got very excited in pre-season, but we all forgot that Hughes' teams take a while to warm up for whatever reason.

One thing is for sure. We will have to play with a lot more backbone, confidence, commitment, movement, and pace to even stand a chance. I want to be confident of a good result but simply do not feel it yet. Hopefully MH and the team will prove me wrong ... Again. We desperately need points on the board before that nightmare run of fixtures that is looming  |

They'll definitely be fired up but Hull are a decent outfit and, as far as we know and based on last season, still poor results wise away from home. A win would be an enormous ask. |

Agree with that, Bruce has done a great job there. Just hoping their European game last night and losing Shane Long will have a big effect on them.
Loads of unknowns though. Now we've got proper pace up front it might suit us playing away and being able to sit back then hit teams on the counter, (like Villa did to us,) especially with them playing 5-3-2. We should get space down the wings if we break well. God knows what's going to happen but it will definitely be interesting!

They did make 9 changes for their trip to Belgium but have also lost two key players in Snodgrass and Long.
