I'm going to "bite the bullet" and get me an air rifle probably this weekend; the boy is now 4 and a half so I think its high time he got his hands on some weaponry. trouble is, air gun tech is lightyears ahead of where I was when I was a lad, think ill have to go sprung instead of pcp based on cost  |

Had a good go of it the other day at the canal side range in toke (dolphin discount), its fucking awesome... spent a good 3 hours aimlessly blasting at shit; forgot how hard aiming a gun is. Hard to group pellets at 15 - 25 yards, how the fuck snipers do it at a mile or so I have absolutely no fucking idea!

What you need is to clamp your gun to something solid and test fire to see the natural grouping, going to be a fucker with a break barrel as unless it's really solid, it will shift, but if it does then adjust the zero on your iron sights then add your optic and zero that. The homs way is to get a boresight laser of eBay, they cost next to nothing and use that to get your zero .
