what with this forum going almost entirely gay with threads on perfume and clothes, I am completing the un-holy trinity with a thread on disco. Perhaps we should change from The red and White Lion to the Blue Oyster Bar?
Whats your favourite disco tune?
My won personal favourite at the moment is "Can You Feel the Force" by the Real Thing
But the other day on t'radio, they played Upside Down by Diana Ross which is a cher-oon! However, she does say the line "Respectfully I say to thee" which makes it sound like she's from Yorkshire, which is somewhat off-putting.

Dancing is the most pointless thing on the planet. Why people want to wiggle about to music is feckin beyond me. Just don't get it
As for disco tunes, if a punk or ska band covered 'Native New Yorker' then it might be a tune....even Kraftwerk could get away with it but in disco format, nope .

Cheers.

Boney M's protest song about the Ulster troubles, 'Belfast' was hilarious. They weren't quite Stiff Little Fingers when it came to singing about that subject.
