Every terror attack makes me feel numb but this is a step up. I feel cold, even numb.
I can't begin to imagine how many people this has effected, and how they must have been feeling last night. What must it be like for our emergency services to head into a zone where they have no idea what has happened, only that there has been an explosion and there are numerous casualties, and no clue as to what else could happen?!
22 lives wasted, and many more destroyed. Something will kick off from this.

Many of us have probably been in the arena or stood at those steps waiting for people to come out, I've done it a few times waiting for the daughter to come out of concerts, too close to home this one. 1 23 year old arrested, nobody will be sure of the involvement yet, could be just a flat mate who knew nothing.

'ISIS' have "claimed responsibility" How do you even stop an attack like this though?! It happened at the end and outside/just inside the arena where there is no security presence, or at least very little. Starting with our prisons, we need to take an aggressive, 0-tolerance stance. 12 children under the age of 16 'critically injured' in hospital. It seems they are in the process of confirming that an EIGHT YEAR OLD GIRL has died as a result of the attack.

Said it before , and I'll say it again. Deport the entire family of anyone involved, that will stop it .
Amber Rudd said "the attack targeted the most vulnerable members of society ", if anyone recognises how to do that it's the tories

Notice how the BBC hasn't used the word Muslim in one it's reports. They pander to these people, a reported 42 million Muslims support ISIS, not just a few like we keep hearing. Watching '3 Girls' showed how the police were afraid to make arrests in Rochdale as to not upset the community which is baffling.

How have they missed that, if he's 'known to security services'?
And what the fuck is his refugee father doing back in the country that he fled for fear or persecution?

Just watched BBC News and read most articles on the BBC website.... no mention of "the M Word".
This type of shit is often purveyed by (home grown) Muslim extremists, pretending otherwise is not productive.
I'm not jumping on any bandwagons here but surely it must be recognised that a small minority of this religion has a problem with western foreign policy, our way of life and beliefs; this problem can only be solved from within the Muslim community by changing attitudes of these young impressionables that are willing to "fight" 12 year old girls.
I'm not hearing strong condemnation from respected Muslim community leaders, I'm not hearing of meaningful intelligence coming from within these communities, I'm not hearing united calls for these attacks to stop and i'm not hearing of extremist sympathisers or supporters being ostracised from their respective groups / communities...
France's approach to integration doesn't work, nor does Germanys open arms policy, nor does our multicultural society? Did we have this problem with mass imigration from the west indies / india / Pakistan in the 50s / 60s/ 70s? What's changed?

The BBC will praise someone as a Muslim at every opportunity, sport especially of late and ignore say a gold medalist but praise a Muslim woman who came 20th. In situations like Manchester it completely blanks their Muslim beliefs as if it is irrelevant. There are a reported 42 million Muslims who support ISIS, 1.5 million in the UK alone.....hardly a drop in the ocean

I was at a bar in Chinatown when someone put the news on. Made me feel fucking sick. People like the cunts that do this don't deserve to breathe the same air we do. Could've easily been one of our friends/daughters/sons or family there to enjoy what is a concert aimed at young teens. Really is difficult to digest, and for the first time in my life I was scared to be in Piccadilly the next day. The atmosphere was surreal. Fuck these cowards and there backwards politics. They belong in caves away from the civilised world.

Despite what everyone is saying... "strength", "unity", "tolerance", "carry on as normal".... Bollocks! I avoid certain situations, locations, events, modes of transport and certainly remain twitchy (vigilant as they say!)... Have done for years!
I'm lead to believe my attitude means the terrorists are winning?
