I'm watching it, QPR are going to struggle with this defence/tactics. When they went 2-0 down they really went for it, all charged out... this probably worked for them last season, lesser quality players might have panicked under the pressure but Bolton just passed the ball out of the area, bypassed the whole QPR team and scored.
I can see them getting tonked a few this season.

I'd be very worried if I was a QPR fan, I thought that they'd get all of their points at Loftus Road and struggle away from home. If this is a sign of things to come then they are fucked, that defence looked hopeless.
I'm gutted that we've got to wait until November to play them because Bolton tore them apart without any real cutting edge... imagine what Ethers and Pennant would do to them.

I've only just looked at their starting eleven and subs and, my fucking Lord, it's worse than the Derby squad that failed so miserably. Where is the money from Briatore and Ecclestone going? I read they spent over £1 Million on upgrading the hospitality suites but they can't support the manager? I wouldn't be surprised to see Warnock fuck off. Briatore and that little shithouse Ecclestone are taking him and the QPR fans for fools. They're absolutely minted, yet not able to bring in one decent, proven Premier League player. I know our squad wasn't great in 08/09 and we were written off after one game (against Bolton funnily enough) but their squad is scarily wank. If they don't sign anybody of genuine quality before September 1st, they're going to have a right old shitter of a season.
I've highlighted below the players that aren't good enough.
QPR
01 Kenny - Average 'keeper
03 Hill - As stated above, he was barely good enough for the Championship five years ago. Slow.
05Hall - Good Championship defender.
06 Gabbidon - Pants defender. Runs like he's shat his pants.
04 Derry - He's about 104 and a dirty bastard to boot. Not good enough.
07 Taarabt - Their only real player of proper quality but he might be gone by the end of August. Then they will be fucked.
08 Dyer - Should change his name to "The Permanently Fucking Injured Keiron Dyer"
11 Faurlin - Looks a decent player
09 Campbell - Will grab a few goals for them
10 Bothroyd - Has never done it in the Premier League despite having several chances
21 Smith - Not good enough
Substitutes
26 Murphy, 02 Orr, 16 Connolly, 14 Buzsaky, 25 Ephraim, 19 Agyemang, 22 Helguson
Nothing from the bench either.

I think Kenny would be a quality keeper if he didn't make stupid decisions coming for crosses and trying to cut out through-balls. It'll be interesting to see how he deals with throw-ins if Delap plays against them.
Their back four is absolutely dog shit, Clint 'I hate the ball' Hill just isn't good enough for the Prem, we knew that about him when Duberry, Higgy and Griff were keeping him out of our team because we were looking to push on.
They had nothing up front today, Taarabt looked like he's capable of scoring a few from outside of the box during the season... but I wouldn't have him in my team, he'll probably be at fault for more goals throughout his career than he'll score at the top level.
They lost 4-0 today at home (in that shitty little stadium that is probably their biggest advantage this season), they had the referee completely on their side too. I don't think he awarded Bolton a free-kick until the 30th minute after about the 15th foul, QPR had 10 free-kicks at that point.
That's one less relegation place to worry about.

He was with them from 04 to 08 so he'd have been with them when we were last playing them, but I have to admit I can't actually remember ever having seen him play against us, so I dunno if he did or not, or just whether I've got a dogshit memory! ;D Actually I think he might have played against us in that freezing Boxing Day 0-0 shite affair in the middle of the binary season. That game was the closest I've ever come to fucking football off for good, because it was that woeful. Pulis, you prick.  ;D |

I wouldn't read too much into an opening day defeat by Bolton!
Although if QPR don't get their shit together soon they could be doomed, something that I would be quite happy about as they have the most annoying fans that I've ever had the misfortune to come accross.
