Ok , so if the plague gets worse and they decide to start postponing matches , might the league basically end now ? Or closish to now with similar positions. Or if they restart in May say , is this likely to be good or bad for us??

Manchester City v Arsenal postponed tonight as Arsenal might have coronavirus from their trip to Olympiakos.
There is also an idea that UEFA are considering which involves moving Euro 2020 to summer 2021 so that European leagues can catch up on fixtures in the event of temporary suspensions of league fixtures due to plague.
Other alternatives might involve playing games in empty stadiums and streaming the action to subscribers at home. Not sure there is enough outside broadcast equipment and capacity to stream all the Saturday 3pm kickoffs in England and Scotland at the same time.

We've been suspended!
All Premier league and football league matches have been suspended until at least the 3rd of April.
We cannot even watch women's football because that has been suspended too.

Non league football in England is still being played this weekend. The only televised match in the UK is Halifax v Ebbsfleet. It's gonna be a classic!

Rumours are that the Premier league and the Football league ( I'll never get used to calling it the EFL) will start up again in July with the remaining fixtures played behind closed doors.

I’ve heard that they are going to play remaining fixtures via the medium of Super Striker (with diving goalkeepers)

The UK's 3pm blackout for televised matches has been lifted for the rest of the season. Possibly means that there are plans to finish the season behind closed doors.
Just hope the players don't have to stay two metres apart at corners as it will be like how we defended when Nathan Jones was in charge.

League Two have decided playing behind closed doors would not be financially viable. Testing the players for COVID19 every few days would cost each club over £100,000. The playoffs are still due to be played (behind closed doors) with live streaming or TV coverage. The table has been calculated based on points per match. Swindon, Crewe and Plymouth are promoted and Port Vale miss out on the playoffs by one point.
