Thibaud Verlinden has left Stoke City to join Fortuna Sittard.
The 21-year-old winger makes a permanent exit six years after joining from Standard Leige.
His career has been dogged with injuries. Shame to see him go as I always thought he was a real talent. Pity he didn't get the chance to shine at Stoke but maybe it's the best for everyone if he moves on.
Don't know if we got a fee for him or not.

Looks like he signed officially yesterday. He is a cracking signing bit is going to be out for a while with a hamstring injury. Definitely one for the future. |

We need to get rid of Sam Vokes and Ince. One is a wardrobe with a fifty pence piece for a head and fifty pence shaped boots and the other is a fucking cotton bud in a football strip. Both as much use as a concrete tampon.

Totally agree mate. Until mid 2022 we will be suffering due to the dead weight we are carrying. For me we need young, football hungry players wanting to play the game every week. We have a few of those but need to add more and move on players who, whilst I quite like some, will not be a part of the plan going forward. Doughty looks a very good signing if his injury fully clears. Hope you and yours are safe and well. I'm reading Brett Anderson award winning autobiographies at the moment along with Judith Durham. Brett's in particular are excellent. He is bloody good at writing and I loved Suede anyway.

Yesterday Tom Edwards completed his loan move to New York Red Bulls
and today Josh Tymon has gone out on loan to the equally glamorous Shrewsbury Town for the rest of the season. Tymon needs game time and a Shrewsbury loan helped Tyrese Campbell get to the next level so probably a good move for everyone.

It's transfer deadline day again and not a lot is happening. Preston are on the verge of selling some defender bloke (Ben Davis?) to Liverpool and they think Liam Lindsay might be a great replacement.

Kevin Wimmer has gone to Bundesliga 2 club Karlsruher SC on loan for the rest of the season.
Liam Lindsay has gone to Preston on loan for the rest of the season.
Lee Gregory has gone to Wayne Rooney's sheepshagging Derby County on loan also for the rest of the season.
