Frustrating night. We hit the post and the bar and missed some other good chances. Even with nine minutes of injury time we just couldn't score. Played well especially in the first half but it was just one of those nights. The referee hasn't used his red card this season but had to send Joe Allen off for a second booking late into injury time.

Both teams were a bit rubbish. It was bloody freezing and the ref was hopeless. Danny Batth was unlucky not to score very late on in the match with the Blackburn keeper making a great save.
