Hull are not the best but I thought we played reasonably well today. Amazing what a difference passing to your teammates instead of the opposition makes.
New signings all looked good and young Wright Phillips was Sky Sports man of the match. Personally I would have given it to Sam Clucas as he always tries against his old clubs. Maybe we should loan him out to every other Championship club for a couple of hours at each club. Then he would be a world beater.
Also that Hull defender who kept blocking our shots and putting in last ditch tackles would have been a good shout for man of the match as he stopped his team from getting a proper pounding.

Think we played well without really having to, bodes well for the Fulham game hopefully.
Wouldn't mind seeing Fletch start with Wright Phillips. Save brown and campbell for the last half hour and hope for tired legs

I think he has the potential to be an incredible player. |

Great game. Any neutrals watching would be impressed by both teams.
Made problems for our selves with silly passes at times and after Fulham's second goal, our team looked like they had lost confidence in themselves for ten minutes or so.
On the plus side, young Wright Phillips is as good as his dad. Baker in midfield looked class and scored a screamer of a goal and the Aston Villa wonderkid was bloody wonderful when he came on as sub. He's a real handful for defenders. Fulham despite 19 goals in their last three games were reduced to time wasting in the second half.
We lost but probably deserved a draw. Still all is well because most Championship teams are not a patch on Fulham. With our new signings we have a good shout of reaching the playoffs.
