I reckon I've looked at the Oatcake about five or six times since 1863 started, and each time it has reminded me why I didn't bother anymore. Davesviews though, that was great. Was the only place where a post about pies at the ground could turn into a heated political debate |

They have a leftie on there calling for an "amnesty" for old posters-banned one's.
It's the only board I've ever been on that bans posters they don't like without warning.
No yellow cards just straight reds and once you you bin banned you're gone for good.

For me it got the most toxic during the stagnation "we need to push on and TP can't do it" days. I think it gained alot of new members with the PL and FA cup successes of that period but that did not help as there was the new fan need for continued development and success. We all want that obviously, but realisim diminished.
I just couldn't stick reading the massive overreactions, arguements and irrational stuff, when all I wanted to do was get a balanced opinion on the state on the nation club
