Attendance doesn't define if you are big though? Surely history does How many little clubs win anything big ? Stoke have won one major trophy in their entire history. Trophies aside would you say we are a little club? Decade at the top table, beating established clubs. middlesbourough away today. I was confident of a draw or maybe a sneaky win but with Jack Bonham in goal, I am not too sure. The defence still isn,t as strong as it should be, so we need a great stopper to pull them out of the shit. Jack Bonham is not a bad goalie but he isn't great either. His goal kicks and kicked clearances are usually perfect but at the really important stuff like saves and gathering crosses, he is just average.

Shame he has gone back to Bournemouth. Best 'keeper we have had for a while.
Hopefully the recruitment team will find us a quality replacement to sign in January.

We were a little club once. When Brian Little was the manager. 20 grand or thereabouts support isn't a big club. Attendance doesn't define if you are big though? Surely history does On our history no we are not a big club by any definition. |
