Still losing 1-0.
Had a few chances in the first half but the final pass or cross has too often been poor. Crewe are playing well and are decent on the counter attack.

Ten substitutions on 60 minutes and almost immediately it's 1-1
I think it was Vidigal with our goal.

Crewe 1 Mighty Potters 2
Loris with a good run into the area but his shot is saved. Vidigal on hand to smash a follow up into the roof of the net.

We have won 2-1 which is the same scoreline as the last time Stoke played at Crewe. Both goals from Vidigal this time and last time Mama Sidibe and Sammy Bangora scored for Stoke.

Forgot about yesterday's friendly at Stockport.
1-0 defeat but it's only a friendly etc.
Bolton away next on Tuesday.

Manhoof scored a decent goal in the first half and it's still 1-0.
It's not a very friendly friendly. Nearly had a mass scrap between the two teams. The ref's yellow card has seen some action.

We have beaten Bolton Wanderers 1-0 at the Toughsheet stadium and a meaningless pre-season friendly.
It wasn't amazing but was a more than decent performance and a good workout for the players.
All is well....

AZ Alkmaar at home tomorrow. £14 for non-season ticket holders or £5 to stream it. Not sure if I can be bothered to go.

Was going to save my myself for the first game of the season but now it's too late to get a ticket, I want to get up the Bet365 and cheer the lads on. Will have to make do with the stream.
Don't understand why there are no cash turnstiles with it being a friendly. Maybe handling cash is too complicated for the turnstile opperators these days.

Lost 1-0 to our dutch opponents. the most exciting thing was a bit of handbags between the players that saw Jordan Thompson and an AZ Alko player sent off. We never really looked like scoring but the dutch team are better than the teams we will face in the league so it is not a guide to how things will go for us at the start of the season. Sam Gallager went off injured after 30 minutes. hopefully nothing serious.

Well that's pre-season done and dusted. Didn't play badly today against a quality team who were very organised. Need the injured players back especially Bae to give the opposition more problems.
Looking forward to 12.30pm next Saturday when the new season kicks off!
