I can't believe the emotional roller coaster, from super excitement to disappointment in a few minutes, I think we can do ok on the pitch but i really just wanted one close trip to go on. Same. It sounds ridiculous being disappointed but, from a travelling, logistics and safety point of view, it's a fucking nightmare.

The kid's godfather, who's jewish, did 12 months at the university in Tel Aviv. I remember him saying that it was cosmopolitan, safe and he had a great time there. His parents visited a few times and really enjoyed it. Nice town, beautiful beaches. I remember my friend (his mother) saying to me, with a wink, that the Israeli's were "mad as hatters" and that she felt "quite at home" there

I was masisvely disappointed with the draw HOWEVER, Kiev, 15th September looks like a good un, £130 for flight, and £85 for two nights between two people, apparantely metro to the ground is 20p, and beer cheap as fuck. I actually think this is cheaper than going to a game in Germany, Holland, Belgium etc. I'm just begging that the flights don't increase too much, can't book anything until I can get hold of some money, and I'm desperate to go away in Europe!

I think that if i can stretch the finances to fund an away trip in this group it would have to be kiev. Like Angry says, not bad prices either.

Cheers to orbs for the text updates when i was at work. I think it seems a decent group, standing alongside dynamo kiev was something i didn't think i'd see ;D Haven't studied the other groups yet. Bit of a bastard for those who want to travel to games though!

why couldn't we get draws like these fookers Tottenham, face Shamrock Rovers from Ireland, Rubin Kazan from Russia and PAOK Salonika from Greece Fulham face FC Twente from Holland, Odense from Denmark and Wisla Krakow from Poland in Group K. Championship outfit Birmingham will face Maribor from Slovenia along with Club Brugge from Belguim and Braga from Portugal in Group H.
