Narcos is probably the best series that I've seen on Netflix. Samurai Jack is on Netflix. It shits on Narcos.

Walton Goggins is about to steal the show in The Hateful Eight. Outstanding and incredibly underrated actor.
The Nice Guys and June's Got a Gun look decent for next year too.

The Bridge series 3 was excellent, a few shots of saga's panty clad bottom. Left open for a series 4

Tonight I shall be watching the ultimate Christmas film. Die Hard. My bestest bit is when Burt Reynolds throws the touchdown against the prison wardens.

Watched the Stone Roses: Made of Stone film/documentary by Shane Meadows last night. Superb.
Burt Reynolds playing the guy who doesn't get a ticket to the intimate gig is absolutely exceptional. How he didn't win the oscar for it I don't know. Merry Christmas Burt!

Almost as upsetting as when he played the idiot bloke who was genius on the piano.

Currently half way through the Hallows and it's a pile of wank. Watched Sicario earlier and that was fucking superb. Might watch Uncommon Valour next as Hackmans a badass in it.

The Martian
Matt Damon and the supporting cast really carried the film. It was unexpectedly funny, tense, suspenseful.Great soundtrack too- all round good film. Time flew by.
8/10.
Gravity
What a fucking steamer of a film. I'd heard positive vibes about this but knew nothing other than Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are in it. Well, within the first 20 minutes I knew I wasn't going to like Sandra Bullock- she's a terrible actress in my book anyway, but her dull, monotone acting just threw it away. Both her and George Clooney make for horrible casting choices. For people that are trained to be in space, both of them (Bullock in particular) make the make the most stupid choices and errors. By the time she was on her own, I was willing her stupid cunt face to die at every corner.
As for the shit they throw at her, it was a bit like watching the last Tomb Raider, the unrealistic level of problems and the unrealistic way she gets out of them. I know they have to flesh out a film consisting of 1 person for the most part, but my god... Several times I found myself sighing and near the end saying "oh for fuck sake". The musical score was also dire, doing nothing to add to the film, a stark contrast to the one in The Martian. Not even the impressive views of the earth could help it muster a better film. The CGI during action scenes looked awful too. Terrible sound direction, terrible casting, terrible pacing, terrible, terrible film.
2/10.
Hateful 8
Fucking great film. Filled with intriguing dialogue and all the typical Tarrintino tropes. Can see why people don't like it, but fuck 'em.
9/10.

They should make a film, Zombies Vs Gypsies so that people really can cheer on the zombies for a change.

Ok, now the big question I'm sure is on everyones minds. The trailers for Dads Army are hitting our screens, is there any chance of all of it being anything other than total shit??
