Ok, now the big question I'm sure is on everyones minds. The trailers for Dads Army are hitting our screens, is there any chance of all of it being anything other than total shit?? You'd have thought it would be total shit like the series but it's got Toby Jones in it and he does seem to have the magic touch.

Was my fave in Dad's Army.

Toby Jones and Michael Gambon were interviewed on 5Live this afternoon they certainly made it sound like a fun film to make.

Watched 'What we do in the Shadows' at the weekend, very good! Got half an hour into it and turned it off. Can't see the big deal with the flight of the conchords lads. I'm more of an Al Bundy and Larry David type of person.

Saw The Revenant last night. It was OK, no more imo. Beautifully shot, but I did start to find it all a bit laughable when our hero goes for his ride down the river over waterfalls and the like in no doubt one or two degrees C water while still severely injured and emerges unscathed the other side. It was like watching the indestructible man and all a bit far fetched.
Passed a pleasant couple of hours with a few wines though, so no bad thing.

Watched 'Gone Girl' much better than I expected & didn't realise it had been directed by David Fincher who's one of my favourite directors.
Finally got round to watching 'Inception' Also enjoyed this, Leo's always very watchable and its shot beautifully.

Watched ' I am Steve McQueen' last night. His son looks like he partied hard. Good documentary if you're a fan of the king of cool. Could have done with more CGI and a few dinosaurs though to liven up the boring bits about his early life
