I see you like war films/dramas so will stick exclusively to that
Saving Private Ryan Flags of our Fathers & Letters from Iwo Jima Black Books The Counterfeiters Downfall Das Boot A Ken Loach film about the Spanish civil war, the name of which escapes me, but if nobody has said what's it's called by the time I'm home, I'll look on my shelf. Good Morning Vietnam Full Metal Jacket We were Soldiers Apocalypse Now Platoon M*A*S*H (the film, the tv series has it's moments but ran for three times as many years as the actual war)

Warriors was 70's northie. Great film though! My fave 80's film is after hours. One of scorsese's finest moments.

I've seen Unstoppable. Good but, very corny. I watched it last night, you were right, it was good but very corny. I think my original reservations were right, the model-actor who saved the day had absolutely no on-screen presence and didn't bring anything to his massive role, just a boring pretty face. They chucked too many Hollywood moments in for me to just sit there and take it all in as a possible event... and I cringed when they were securing a new friendship by telling their boss to go fuck himself, I hate cheesey Americans.
