When Harry met Sally, the greatest Rom Com of all time That's a bit like winning the best sexually transmitted disease or the orangest hair competition.

I fear that we are careering towards a set of unnecessary vagina-related euphemisms. This may be due to the link between Tom Cruise and the word "twat" as much as anything else.
And the Ilfordian is wrong. Notting Hill is the best RomCom ever. It is because i say so. Yes it is without question a festering pustule on the arse of modern cinema, and yes the principle characters are grotesque charicatures of the averge British person in order to pander to mainstream America's continuing belief that we all live in castles and say "pip pip" to each other in the street. But Julia Roberts is very pretty in it. And Hugh Grant says "oopsie daisies" as well. Smashing.

Shrek. Saw it for a mate's birthday then we went with school the next week because they were doing building work in our classroom on the last day of term so they shoved us on a bus and took us to the cinema.

Don't think I've been the cinema since 1996* when I too a bird on a first date to see "Crash" featuring Rosanna Arquette; little did I know it involved a bloke fucking a bird in her badly injured leg; we never met again.
*films are wank.

I've never done it, but then I don't think I've been the cinema more than 10 times in my life, the last film I went to watch was the amityville horror and that was purely because I was following a large pair of breasts (still attached to the girl at the time) when I was about 16 or 17.
The fact you can't get away with as much as I hoped in the cinema quickly brought an end to it.

who framed roger rabbit - in a time before films were easily available in other ways I went to see this several times.
More recently I saw District 9 twice at the flicks. I fricking love that film.
