Spot on Wheezy boy - he looks good and so does Woodgate and I also think that Shawcross has upped his game.
That Pulis bloke, he knows something about defending don't you think ;D

I thought he pipped Shawcross to 'man of the match' today, outstanding performance... I'm pretty sure he never played like that for West Ham, Birmingham or England.

When a 'pool player lay on the floor following a challenge from Mr Upson, he offered him a hand to help him up.
Literally lifting him back up on to two feet with one hand, great stuff these oatcakes.

It's funny how these players seem to change when they come here, isn't it?
Woodgate was, apparently, just looking for another payday when he came here. Now he wants to play every game, even if he's not quite right, and is pissed off at being left out of the Europa 25 and he let Pulis know it. I bet Tone fucking loved it when he stropped out of the office.
And Upson. weeks ago he was a soft, shitty centre half who had lost his way and nobody wanted. Now he looks like he's made of fucking granite and looked quite prepared to do absolutely fucking anything to protect our goal against the Scousers. I loved that little bit after they repelled the Henderson/Suarez efforts. They looked like a band of brothers and Upson was right at the heart of it. You can just tell he's fucking loving it, and he's a better centre half now than he has been for years, even when he was making England squads at West Ham. A pity he won't get a fucking look-in now.
Tone has his shortfalls, but hios players always seem ready to do whatever they have to to get results. That's his biggest legacy IMHO.
