Just thinking about tonight's performance by Stoke, great stuff really.

No Ethers, Pennant or Walters in the starting line up, Wilson and Delap out injured and yet we now have the strength in depth to cope with that. Cameron Jerome got better as the game went on and took his goal very well. Shotton had a very good game and Palacios did well. Upson had another solid game too.

I'm over the late equaliser already...... Stoke City are now a bloody good team.

Slept on it and it's still a great result whichever way you look at it. Stoke's style looks comfortable in Europe and with a fair few of the first team missing the team played perfectly well. Playing a side away with their pedigree and they looked knackered at the end.

Can anyone tell me if that was the Kiev first eleven out there last night?
