Comes across as an insightful pundit anyway (as opposed to Jamie 'top, top' Redknapp and Ray 'stay on yer feet' Wilkins ) but that's great praise. Both the Neville brothers seem like pretty decent guys too to be honest.
Have to say, the more I hear him on Sky, the more I actually like the bloke. (Not just because of the Stoke comments either!)
There's something to be said about that.
As a player he always came across as a moaning, arrogant arse-hole but now, as a pundit i find myself warming to his knowledge of the game, his personality and even his wit. He seems a genuine bloke.
It says it all that the pundit who has actually played against us, is the most insightful about how we play and how it works
That's a good point. Maybe the last few that we haven't turned around should actually talk to Premier League players instead. Apart from the Arse players of course.

He reminds me a bit of Robbie Savage in that he was an absolute tosser of a player (still, both were a bit pantomime-villainy rather that loathsome cunts), but both have turned out to be really insightful, likeable and quite good-humoured pundits.
