What is the point in the SPL? They may as well filter the teams into the English league system. Rangers, Celtic and Hearts into the Championship. Hibs etc in League 1 and the slightly shitter sides in League 2. Then maybe have 22 teams in the Prem but make it so the bottom 4 go down.  |

Please noooooooooooooo Anyone who thinks Rangers and Celtic will be anything other than permanent fixtures in the Prem League is living in cuckoo land. And that means two fewer places for the likes of us. They may be shit now right enough. But give them the security of £60m a year plus the borrowing they could persuade lenders to give them based on revenue from crowds of 50,000 every week. Add in projected worldwide earnings once they're enjoying the exposure of being in the Prem, especially with the millions of Scots who've pissed off from Scotland to far flung places, and they'd soon both be a top six fixture. They've never cared about the fact that they've dominated their own league for the last three decades Now it's all going tits up for them (as widely predicted by many in Scotland), fuck em! |
