Just had a play on the Demo ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Pisser, Get it, its fucking mint
Shame there's no drift points on the demo, that new BMW M5 is a fucking drift god already. May have to get one and tune it up as a drift monkey
I now intend to find out what I can take from my Froza 3 save game across with me, then sell everything I own I can't take, and buy a version of everything I can take with me, so I'm fully prepped and ready roll when it arrives on friday (hopefully thursday)

OK here are the Bonus cars you will get on Forza 4, from your Forza 3 saved game. The first is based on what level you got to on single player mode I'm at level 50, so I get them all ;D _____________________________________________________________ This is the list of cars, that if you have them in your Forza 3 garage, you will get them in your Forza 4 Garage too a few of the cars don't seem to appear on my version, and when I search on the auction, none are available, so maybe this is for the US version I've bought the 6 I can find, and specced them upto the max, as they may transfer with all upgrades, I just don't know. Still got 3.5M credits left, as I had a big clear out of my garage, just leaving about 30 cars, my favs, my best A600 tag and S700 tag cars, and the D-Type Jag I spent stupid amounts of credits on

Reviews have been very decent all round. The only game I want a 360 for.
Totally unrelated logged onto GT5 yesterday randomly to be met with a message 'Congatulations Sebastian Vettel' and it's gifted me this fucker

Not played racing games in time. But I feel a bit of a knob having an xbox just to play fifa on, so I might get it.

I'm also planning on getting an 1863 Car Club Badge which I'll gift to the 1863 car club members.
I understand you can import your Forza 3 vinyl's , but not your complete car designs, so it'll probably take me a while to get some Stoke Car designs up like I used to have

Bought a steering wheel for GT5 last night. I'm amazed by how realistic the handling is. It simulates the weight of the car, the direction of the wheel and snatches back as it would. Only problem is the force feedback makes it really difficult to keep hold on your lap. Going to try this later.

well thats one way, but I'll stick to the xbox controller, I've got wheels, and as I said on other threads, unless you spend £200plus, and play driving games none stop, they just aint worth it.
As for GT5, i traded my copy in, as its a bag of shite in my opinion, 5 years of development, and no great leap forward at all

I'm toying with taking it back to be honest, the pro's are the steering is brilliant, you get all the steering feedback and control you just don't get though a pad and it's good fun, the mrs was on it more than I was.
The cons are it's 90 quid, I don't think I'll get the best use out of it and is it really worth it to shade a few seconds off lap times.
The decision rests on how good the ironing board is really ;D

I got a G27 in the end and i'm chuffed to bits with it. I don't think I could go back to using a pad now, so much more exciting and engrossing. I wasn't going to get one at all but I got a tax rebate and saw one on ebay for £160 quid, only trouble is Forza does look amazing and i'll have to play that on a controller I mainly play on the PC anyway so i'm still chuffed to bits. ;D

Unless you're getting close to the top of the online leader boards without a wheel its just not worth the extra expense for those extra half seconds it might give you.
My experience was that I could actually get corrective lock on quicker with an xbox controller than a wheel, OK I wasn't quite as smooth with the corrective lock, but who fucking cares, I can get top 2% online drift scores using an xbox controller on Forza 3, Its all about the car set up and having the right car to drift, I've clocked 18,000+ drift points on 1 lap of Mugello in over half a dozen different cars

I don't really care how fast I go ;D
I've used it shit loads since I got it Lew, i'm endlessly messing with the settings to both the wheel and the car set up to get the perfect match, like Dave said in another thread, it's a lot harder at first but when you get used to it it's fantastic.
I nearly got the DFGT as it's got cracking reviews but the amount i've used mine i'm pleased I spent the extra.
I've heard the DFGT is fantastic on Gran Turismo though, which I suppose it should be.

It arrived early !!! ))) It's fucking amazing so far. Not huge numbers of new cars, but enough for now. I'm loving the new "affiliation" system get a car to level 5 and you get all upgrades with a 100% discount !!! Sorted The car club is called "1863 Stoke City" and you will exclusively get "SCFC" in front of your gamer tag with membership. I've stuck my carry over cars in there, and will eventually place almost all my cars in there. Only the actual cars owner can modify it, so cars will be set up on request. I'm gonna set a time in a " reasonably priced car" round the top gear test track later. Sorted

Had the sierra cossie on Forza 3 as DLC, it's not bad, I turned mine into a South African Ford Sierra XR8, by dropping a mustang V8 in it (YouTube it). Also got an escort cossie which I have souped to S700 class, all the handling mods, slicks etc, 480bhp, it'll piss on a 458 on twisty circuits.
Just been playing car football online, it's fun but a team of randoms doesn't really work too well, also shit loads of lag, or people cheating. Too many flying or sinking cars. And you basically need a souped up hummer or you get smashed

Went and returned the wheel. I appreciate how good it was but I just didn't think I'd get the mileage out of it and don't really have the time to master it, plus the mrs wasn't too happy too see the ironing board serving an alternative purpose ;D. If it ever drops in the future, perhaps when GT6 is out, I'll get one but get one of the proper wheel stand pro's for it. Just a bit of a bad time spunking money on it when Christmas is round the corner.

Now done some vinyls, a basic Stoke badge, and a uk reg plate with 2 badges and 1863 in the middle. Will apply it my shared garage cars in time. I'm just trying to plough through the offline races at the moment. And Lew86, do you want to buy a GT3 branded logitec wheel

Now at LV22 of 100, and am scamming the newbies on the auctions, flogging cars I paid 1k for at between 10x and 50x that. Here's how
1) get affinity rating with a manufacturer upto 5 (maybe 4) and you get almost all upgrades free
2) search auctions for cheap cars from that company, that are half decent, set budget limit eg 10k per car
3) soup up car for free
4) start auction at 10k
