We've got the majority of the decent ones but anyone's welcome to PM other members who they feel will make a contribution. I got banned because they thought I was PM'ing members when I wasn't and there wasn't any evidence to prove it, other than the fact that people are on here
Not. Even. Arsed.

It's not a matter of invitations, the poster will feel an unearthly pull when it is their time.

Sal are they fine with you modding here? Yep, everything's in the open and friendly. Like I said over there, there's no conflict as far as Admin are concerned, or me - they wanted the GDB to go back to more what they have in mind and are cool with the people they felt were making it unruly being somewhere else. The Oatie will carry on being the Oatie just fine as it always has, I hope.

The halcyon days of the GDB were responsible for about 90% of the Oatcake's enjoyability factor.

The Oatie will carry on being the Oatie just fine as it always has, I hope. On the contrary sal, something died on the oatcake when they removed the GDB, most of my issues with there were about some of the cretins that inhabit the mainboard, and the draconian manner in which oatcake admin sometimes decided to "clean up" They created the problem, by imposing rules, which they then failed to enforce by lack of modderating resources, I appreciate they all have jobs, but all they needed to do was expand the moderating team to atleast a dozen people, spread over different times of the day. This allowed things to get out of control, which they then suddenly cracked down on with an iron rod. If there was a moderator on at all times, it would never have got to that position They have killed off the banter, the GDB always existed even before the mainboard/GDB were created, we always had off topic threads

No it's me, in the end people who didn't bother looking at the posting ID on the username hadn't got a fucking clue who was who ;D Then the took the priviliges away like we were naughty children...which of course we were ;D

I'd have felt bad if he wasn't a fat scrounger. He was a nice bloke though, quite cute. How funny was that thing with his 'wife'. Hahaha, grunttle.
