well as Jerome isn't suspended I'd start him instead of Ric and bring Ric on as a sub

It's gonna be a cold one Also does this mean Bego is the keeper in the cups now? Pretty sure it does. When Sorro was the cup keeper TP made it clear that he would be keeping it one keeper for cups one for league so I'd presume that he'll carry that trend on.

Anyone else find it a little strange that Tommy wins his way back into the league side, as we're trying to get him to agree a new contract...

TONY Pulis says he's looking forward to seeing the best of Wilson Palacios after the midfielder forced his way into tonight's Europa League squad at home to Dynamo Kiev (8.05pm). The £6m signing from Tottenham is set to play some part as City look for the point which would confirm their qualification from Group E, or the victory which would send them through as group winners. Palacios has had four starts in Europa or Carling Cup games, but only played 38 minutes of Premier League action because of the knee problem which has plagued him since he arrived from Spurs on August 31. However, he is set to feature tonight as City attempt to extend their unbeaten European run to nine games. Pulis, said: "Wilson had tonsillitis, otherwise he would have been involved against Blackburn on Saturday. "But he has trained well and he'll be involved in this game. "It has been a disappointment that he hasn't been at the fitness levels we expected him to be at now, but his problem was more severe than we thought and we've had to be very careful with him. "It's not just about making sure he comes back, but making sure that he stays back and is part of what we're doing. "He has trained exceptionally well over the past two weeks and looked much more on the front foot. That's what he is – a front-foot player." www.footballcourier.com/news/story/647116/stoke-city-palacios-set-to-star-in-citys-europa-league-bid/full_story.html

He'll play 3 minutes from the bench. Key wording is; "he'll be involved in this game" Involved doesn't mean starting. (also why does it not surprise me that 'Arry sold us a player who's injury turned out worse than first through )

Begovic, Shotton, Huth, Upson (c), Higginbotham; Pennant, Palacios, Diao, Delap; Jerome, Jones Bench: Nash, Fuller, Wilson, Shawcross, Whitehead, Walters, Crouch Whoever said Delap out wide should win a prize (from PM) I think.

From the Beeb...
Tony Pulis' side are unbeaten in the competition and have a 100% home record, while Dynamo are looking to break their English hoodoo - they have lost nine of their ten matches in England. Not looking predictable at all then."
