My ode man drank too much, plain and simple, end stage liver disease in his mid 50's.
You would think it would stop me drinking but it hasn't.

My old man just drinks whatever lager is on offer, it used to always be Skol at home now it's just whatever is cheapest. I've pretty much followed in his footsteps, I just drink the cheapest Lager on tap, which was Tuborg last night, lovely stuff.

Is it really something that we just fall into and copy? I am not sure whether it was because my Dad used to drink a bit when I was a lad (not off his face pissed every night ) but I grew up around Saturday night working mens clubs and he used to like a pint with his mates in the evening. I think back and I am sure it was off my own accord that I became a piss head and nowt to do with my owd man

The old man always drank bitter when we were kids-he's more of a guinness man now.
