Not a single person I regularly go to games with is willing to endure any more and I'm not going to be a billy no mates so no Everton game for me Of course this probably guarantees an away win, in which case I'll not be allowed to attend another away game ever again as the only other game I've missed this season (excluding Europe away) was West Brom..... I've been lucky this season with the lad pissing me off so much in Split and Norwich that I've decided to cut the away games down to a minimum - only having to endure Swansea although I got to climb the Skirrid on the way down there to ease the pain ;D I have my sister to thank for having her 40th birthday party on the afternoon that Stoke played at Bolton. The only reason I went to Swansea was because I was told it was by the sea. I was expecting St Davids not the fetid shit hole we ended up in. A day spent climibing Skirrid would have been way more preferable.

Walters eyeing daddy of all wins: JON WALTERS is on a mission to start a family feud and end Stoke's travel sickness. Walters wants to get the cold shoulder from his family by beating Everton tomorrow. The Republic of Ireland international's dad is a Goodison Park season ticket holder, while many other relatives are also die-hard Blues. Walters, 28, is set to start for the Potters tomorrow as Tony Pulis' troops seek to secure only their second Premier League away win in 2011. And he said: "Everton are the club I supported as a kid. "My family will be there on Sunday and some will support Stoke, some will be supporting Everton. "My dad's a season ticket holder and goes to every home game. "The majority of my family are Evertonians. "Let's hope I'm not so popular after Sunday. "I'll be going there to score and will be trying my hardest." Story link

The lads will have to try and not let the occasion get to them tomorrow as I am sure there is going to be an extra edge to the Goodison crowd as it is going to be all about Gary Speed.

Don't think the whole Speed thing will have an impact tbh. We'll be shit enough for them to win whatever back story there is.

Want him to have 20 minutes at the end or something, but I doubt it'll happen.

Didn't look like he can handle another 90 minutes. Did well enough to get through the first 90.

I've been a cunt (as usual) and stuck tenner on Everton, don't mind losing a £10 for a point or a win

This was one of the away games I'd planned to go to at the start of the season, but I can't make it now. Given form, I think it's a blessing. Next game after that? Rampant Spurs. Yikes
