Was having a discussion with my lad the other week about the new Foo's album coming out soon and potential tour. He was asking could he go and I had to remind him that these gigs have age restrictions (he's 11) and that he wouldn't be able to go, we then sort of realised that there's a good chance he might never see them live, he was gutted. Then out of the blue they announce they're gonna headline the Invictus games closing ceremony, which is a real nothing gig (artist wise) and it's on his birthday!!! It was meant to be!!! I managed to get tickets, very lucky apparently, sold out in 3 minutes, so on my boy's birthday, he's gonna do something only recently I was telling him he probably never will, see the mighty Foos!!! (I realise it won't be a full on Foos gig, just chuffed he'll get to see them) Oh, forgot to mention, he knows nothing about it!!!  |

Did you like Lulworth Castle as a venue, Orbs? We were there in April and it was pretty impressive then so I can imagine what it was like under a hot August sun.

Still had to work today, ball bagged! Gig was great. The boy absolutely loved it! Yes, a lot of the acts were cheese but it was a cracking day Bryan Adams turning up was rather amusing considering Ryan Adams was on the bill Ryan Adams I had never heard of, didn't know what to expect, he was fucking ace, will be looking his shit up. Little un was almost celebrity status as the night went on, proper rocked out on my shoulders, everyone was getting pics with him, high 5ing and getting him to lob their half full bottle (plastic) forward into the crown when the tunes suited it I'll let the boys 'selfies' into the public domain  RK's  Kaisers  Foos |
