Ah, there is actually a band called Municipal Waste - I had assumed you were going to a conference about Municipal Waste and were making a humerous aside, which I appreciated as I often attend conferences about Municipal Waste, but they are infact a thrash metal band from Richmond, Virginia. I could have embarrassed myself requesting for work to pay for me to go to that!!

They're a great band, not everyones cup of tea but I like to relive my youth by going to mental live shows occasionally and getting pisseyed drunk and a tad baked.

Well the lad and one of his mates saw the Stone Roses at the Etihad last night. He tells me that they were very good.

I went on wed nes day. They were very good, although Public Enemy supporting were utter fucking wank.
The sound for the first part of the Roses set was very quiet. Don't know if it was the same every night?

Biffy next w'end in Belfast I'm working in belfast again next weekend (3rd weekend this month) see you down the cathedral quarter after the gig? Is Minnesota Fats still going in Belfast? Talking many years ago now Went with my cousin. The Harp Bar briefly opened under Terri Hooley, home of great bands like SLF, Fhe Oucasts and Rudi. Belfast produced great bands at the time of Good Vibrations records
