Florence and the machine were pretty good. A tad boring at times but that's just me not really being a massive fan and knowing the music. Good show, great live voice. The best thing of the night was the LP they played in between bands. Just got in there after having a crafty spliff with the missus on the way down and this reggae classic was booming out the speakers from start to finish  Fucking awesome and just perfect for the moment!  |

Working the Maccabbees gig at Uni next Wednesday. Short shift too, which means I only have to serve up until 9pm then I can watch the gig in the crowd for free.

Spiritualized were fucking immense last night! Cosmic stuff, proper spaced out rock n roll. Great to see a band who normally play bigger venues at a tight little place like the rescue rooms. Muzz came all the way down from scotland to join me, had a cracking night |

Nice very nice!! Slam Dunk Sold out and cant get a ticket for leeds site now so wont be going that!! May just go on the tour that has Hit the Lights and Motion City soundtrack playing though!!  Thinking of doing this line up in Liverpool as its only half an hour away from me and need a warm up to download!! Alkaline Trio, The temper trap, mystery jets, D/R/U/G/S and Ghostpoet and a shit load more for £30 may as well do it!! Alkaline Trio week on Saturday fuck yes!!! |
