Alkaline Trio were amazing in acadamy 1 after years of waiting to see them! Just the show I saw was meant to be in academy 2 not 1 and it just dident work in a weird way!!

Going to see a local band at the Underground next week. The Get Alongs, no idea what they're like but I have nothing else to do and it's cheap. Anyone know if they're any good? Hey my daughter went to see that lot...if you got hi fived from a daft as a brush teeny bopper then that was her Hang on, I think that may mean I know your daughter then. Don't suppose she goes to Blythe? Cause that sounds an awful lot like one of the girls I was there with. |

Saw neds supporting the wonderstuff on the groove machine tour, jesus jones were on the bill too. Used to be mates with rat out of neds at one time. Haven't seen him for years though.

Jesus Jones, Digbeth Irish Centre (don't think its there anymore?) one very hot and sticky summers evening in the early 90s. The irish centre, seen a few gigs there mate, the darling buds is one that sticks out. Haven't been down digbeth for a while so not sure if it's still standing or not. |

OMG-Force.
CUD last night at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham - absolutely killed it.
I got talking to this lad from Holmes Chapel I think who follows the band everywhere - he normally goes on stage with them and dances (a la Bez) and for the last song (push and shove) he took me up on stage with him. It was mint - dancing on stage to your favourite band to your favourite track.
Hopefully there will be a youtube vid of it which I can post so you can all see how fucking cool I am.
