Join a running club, the slower you run the more birds you run with. If you see something fitter in a faster group then it will give you an incentive to get to the next level. Sometimes it's worth lagging behind the pace to check out the lycra in front. Inspired yet. have you been nicking my tactics I'm worried about you now, you only run with men

Alsager 5 mile race today. Shit conditions, snow and slush, 34 minutes and 25 seconds and I even had to stop and tie my lace hopefully wont be like that at the pie and peas in August, a good time though we had to run to the train station and back this morning, everywhere else was too icy

I'm more than happy with the time but frustrated because I expected to run this race around 33 minutes. Did many turn up this morning? Bet the tea tasted even better ;D
