To summarise Donks Refereeing inconsistency.... Things just didn't drop for us and it's been like that for a few weeks Can't fault the effort, Kenwyne was DECENT We were well on top AFTER the subs. Disappointed we haven't come away with all three points. 2nd half was as well as we've played away from home in the Prem TBF I thought KJ was better than Crouch.

Getting pissed off with the amount of moaning he's doing about referees, its embarrassing.
Someone made a table which basically said which teams had had the most refereeing decisions go their way, we were top.

Thought the reffing was pretty spot on today as well. A couple of things we might have got, but nothing major. Crouchy going down like a Cobridge whore at every opportunity didn't help.

There is no consistency in refereeing - Huth gets sent off for sliding near a player one week (and incorrect ban upheld, even though everybody watching accepted that it was the wrong decision); Pogrebnyak slides in dangerously, catches a player halfway up his leg with studs showing and doesn't even get a caution.
Cisse is on the end of a potential leg breaking tackle, gets up and grabs the guy round his neck (correctly sent off); Suarez kicks Parker in his stomach full whack when the ball was nowhere near it, leaving Parker in a crumpled heap on the floor... yellow card and no mention of proper punishment for it.
The rules for bans are fucking stupid. 3 match ban for sliding near a player in one game (and playing the rest of the game with 10 men), yellow card for booting your opponent in the stomach full pelt when they go to head the ball (and no other action taken).

I agree, but we need to focus on ourselves first. We can all moan and bitch when refereeing decisions affect a game in which we looked like winning. At the moment we are so bad it doesn't matter. So yeah, focus on your team first, refereeing second Pulis.

Saw the goals and Pobadkjashdjbashjdbhasjdbkak's assault I'm fucking sick of football Seriously how the fuck could Atkinson and Foy have so different views yet be under the same directive to cut out on dangerous tackling, that and Skrtels challenge last week it is a fucking joke man. Because, by the looks of things, there's no set rule for what is a red card offence anymore, it's more down to the referees interpretation The problem being that their interpretations pretty much all season haven't been debatable, they've just been completely wrong. The standard of refereeing this year has been absolutely laughable. I can't think of a weekend of football where there hasn't been a completely wrong decision this season. It's almost as if the referees are having a competition between themselves.. "Who can make the shittest decision of the weekend?" Pack of wankers

Although in theory both Saturday and the previous Sunderland game despite poor performances in parts of the game the refs decisions have had a causal effect? Yes true, but I'd rather Pulis focused on our weaknesses and not on referees.

Me personally, I think it's a bit of both Pulis, like most of us, probably feels that we're already at a disadvantage thanks to garbage and inept refereeing week in, week out. However, he makes another disadvantage thanks to the "one winger policy" team selection
