Wooooooooooooo That's just crap defending, Crouch's height helped a lot, but you don't need much help when defending is that crap ;D

Defending was awful for the first goal too. It's like playing Arsenal.

People were still moaning about it being the same old frustrating bollocks on twitter as the second goal went in...
I really don't know why some people "support" Stoke...

How can any goal, no matter how shit it looked, be frustrating?
On our current form any goal feels like a 40 yard screamer.

Rooneys out of the England squad too... So with Bent already out and Crouchy scoring...? You never know...

A lot of people say about Crouch only scoring against the weaker teams for England, but imo that's exactly what we need, someone who can score consistently against the "shit" sides like Algeria. He might not be the player you want against the Spains, Frances of the tournament but it should be about mixing it up and it's the lower teams who've tended to fuck us up. No doubt he won't get picked though.

Second half could be a different story, but that half shows what a misleading stat possession can be.

Amazingly there's much more a chance that Carroll gets called up, not only because of age but because of who he plays for.
This is the difference between English football and German football. Here we pick players based on their club reputation or which club they play for, over in Germany they're picked purely on international form. Look at Klose and Podolski for example, neither have at all impressive club records but have been consistently brilliant for the national side.

Weirds subs from them though ;D Their pace was causing most problems. Reminds me of MON playing Carew and Hesky against us instead of Agbonlahor
