Missing this first home league game I'm missing for about 5 years. Not fair I've got a sinking feeling that won't go away. Oh well, earning money is apparantely more important.

Jerome set for the bench.. CAMERON Jerome is sweating on whether he will be rewarded or rested when kick-off comes against Manchester City this evening.
Jerome is in the frame to start successive league matches for the first time at Stoke following his impressive goalscoring appearance at Tottenham in midweek.
But boss Tony Pulis may judge it too much to ask for him to play another 90 just four days after the Spurs game.
Jerome, pictured right, already appears to have lost his place on the left because Matthew Etherington has been declared fit.
So that leaves Jerome eyeing up a place in attack if Pulis decides he is worth another start.
Pulis, who admits to having some sympathy with a player starting only five league games since joining from Birmingham in August, said: “I still haven’t made my mind up who I will go with against Man City.
“But Cameron has been fantastic and he has scored a striker’s goal on Wednesday night.
“He worked very hard out wide for us and had two great chances in the first half.
“He’s done really well, whether he’s come off the bench or starting.
“And it’s another goalscorer in the team. By playing wide, he gives us another option in respect of having another goalscorer on the pitch.
“He looks as though he’s going to nick a goal.”
Which is a compliment he couldn’t honestly level at his other wide men after seeing Etherington contribute three and Jermaine Pennant yet to open his account.
Pulis hinted that Jerome’s playing record at Stoke would have been more plentiful if it hadn’t been for the partnership of Jonathan Walters and Peter Crouch.
“His attitude has been brilliant since he came in and he’s got us some crucial goals like the other night,” added Pulis.
“He’s disappointed he isn’t playing, just like the ones who aren’t in the team, but I think Walters and Crouch have been very good this year and they were good together at Spurs.
“It’s difficult to keep them all happy, but Cameron’s attitude and application has been first class since he’s been here with us.”RESTED!? He doesn't need to be fucking rested, he's hardly played! Also, Pulis saying that he scored a strikers goal. So play him fucking upfront for fuck sakes..

I really hope we go for the win today. Man. City are probably the best team in the premier league and are only second due to lack of experience but as we have proved before, we can get to them with an intimidating atmosphere, so off to the pub now before the match to lubricate the vocal chords.
Goaaarrrrrrn Stoke!

FOR FUCK'S SAKE PULIS YOU CUNT WHAT YOU DOING WHATS WRONG WITH PENNANT WALTERS IS SHIT PULIS OUT WE'RE GOING DOWN 5-0 MAN CITY SHITTTTTTTT.
I'm actually pleased with that, obviously its not as good as it could be (I'd put Jerome up top instead of Walters and Pennant on the wing) but its better than playing Shotton there.
Good to see Whitehead playing, he's been ace every time he's played recently.

MCFC: Hart, Zabaleta, Richards, Kolo Toure, Clichy, Barry, Yaya Toure, Silva, Nasri, Balotelli, Dzeko
Manchester City FC @mcfc Roberto opts for height upfront to counter Stoke's defensive power. Apparently Aguero missed training yesterday possibly due to injury #MCFC

I don't understand why nobody talked about Barry's ankle-breaker on Whelan in the area as a penalty. We saw the replay about 5 times and they didn't mention that it was a clear foul and a stonewall penalty, they were just fixated on how bad the injury could have been.

Going well, we look good for a point but we'll need to keep our concentration up. Apart from that one header Dzeko has been invisible and Balotelli hasn't really had much out wide, only real threat has come from Nasri and Silva linking up.
We've also looked good on the break and have been unlucky not to score from the corner. Jerome has shown the goods and bads of his game with good pace and getting into the right areas but also a bit of blind running, should've played Whitehead in early on but kept running and got crowded out. Whitehead and Whelan have done very very well, getting forward and supporting as well as being excellent defensively.
Of course according to some people people we're "A FUCKING JOKE" and they've "never seen so much SHIT"... Interesting view when you're going toe to toe with potential title winners.
