Been keeping an eye on it since it became Sleeping Dogs and it looks like they've taken it from being a poor mans GTA to a better, more serious GTA type, but with Saints Row 3 elements, so it's fun to play.
It looks massive as well, haven't played GTa for years now so will be refreshing to play a sandbox, but a fun one.
All the previews have had nothing but praise and early reviews, including official PS mag have given it 9. I think it'll be the sleeper hit of 2012, like Arkham Asylum a few years ago.
Think I'll go trade in some games on Friday.

Yeah looks like it's really turned into something decent, heard nothing but praise for it so far.
Some of the enviromental kills look brutal as well, a bit Punisher esque.

Anyone played it yet? Lots of independent journo's and people in the industry say it's an absolute pleasure to explore and the stories very good.

Nothing groundbreaking but really enjoying it so far, love the combat and the setting mainly.

Glitches galore, shocking combat and lack of control (certainly on motorbikes) and a dull repetitive storyline..
I have nearly completed it though... ;D

Looks decent so far. You'll never get an open world game without glitches. Combat is brilliant for this kind of game, like a looser Batman.
Will fill a void until gta5 comes out next year. This is already better than 4 IMO.

Nammers said to me it's like GTA mixed with Batman, i'd agree with that, maybe a cross between Saints Row/GTA/Batman.
