I've got the board to upgrade youth recruitment about 4 times. The only half decent player I got was a striker who was still nowhere near good enough to ever break into the first team. Even with brilliant facilities and academy, in 10 seasons I haven't had a good player come though.

Well first impressions make the patch seem very good. My Blackpool team used their pace to fucking ruin Hull. Although the more direct approach in CM now meant that when I was leading 1-0 we conceded because the players weren't taking as much time on the ball, and still playing aggressive passes.

5 goals conceded in one game from a limited defender dithering on the ball... Ace.

Who's the defender? Would imagine he would have low concentration or decisions for that many errors in one game

Looks like he should be a solid defender, but that is only when he's at 100%. Consistency, morale, condition and the team talk before the game would be the only factors that'd cause an otherwise solid player to fuck up.

Consistency is the most important stat on the game I would argue, only scouts (or things like geniescout) can reveal whether that's as good. 20/20 Consistency = 20-23 out of 25 games at full CA. 1 Consistency = 1 or less game at 100% CA out of 25 games.

Given he's only rated at 2.5 stars when a first look at his profile suggests he'd be a good back-up for a premiership side does suggest that he will have mental stats that cause implosions at times.

He's rated at 3.5 on my game. Morale isn't an issue, he likes me and we've won the previous two games 4-1.

Would have just been that game was one of his off-games in the 25 then. One of the draw backs unfortunately, the roll of the dice with the consistency stat can have a huge influence. And there's no suggestion of when it will or won't be the case.

The reverse happens sometimes with other players. They're usually shocking, then they get a chance on the lucky day they'll play well and then you might not see it again for another 3/4 months (Jones at Stoke for example)

I figured that it was consistency based, just 5 times in one game seemed a bit excessive.

This guy has just ended the season with 19 goals and 21 assists, just in the league

Won the Prem and the FA cup. Players won player of the season, players' player of the season, young player of the season, top goalscorer, (27 goals in 28 games,) and I got manager of the year.

Expanding the stadium which will take 14 months, so we're relocating to the City of Manchester Stadium.

EDIT: Heinrich has just won Best Player in Europe too. He's worth £36m now

1 at Hartlepool, first team again.

1 got an offer from Leeds ' valuable first team member'. Then they stuck him straight into their youths, my academy is better you cheeky cunts.

I've got better defenders than the previous season, but seem to let more in. Score more though.

Found a bug. If you're winning at half time because of an own goal it'll say that the other team are winning.

Also I bought two players from Barca, they were having trouble communicating. One is Spanish, one is Mexican (so they basically speak the same language), the Mexican speaks basic Spanish anyway. They've also spent 5 years together at Barca.

What the actual fuck.

As a side note. Similar to the training courses for coaches I'd love there to be an option to put a player on a language course, and how fast they learn is dictated by their personality.
