Stoke boss Pulis happy he chose Kightly over Jarvis
Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is delighted with summer signing Michael Kightly.
Pulis snapped up Kightly from Wolves, just as Matt Jarvis left Molineux for West Ham United.
Pulis said: “Jarvis was one we were interested in but the deal West Ham paid for him was always going to be a little bit too rich for us.
“He’s a good honest lad and he’s an old-fashioned winger who gets down the line and gets the crosses in. He will give you that service.
“But the deal was a little bit too much for us. Michael’s been very good for us. He’s a great lad and works his socks off.”
Doesn't read like the headline to me, does it you..?

Unless you're a guy who has a hatred of Kightly for no reason because some Stoke fans are like that think everyone is glad he picked Kightly over Jarvis...considering one had a mare with injuries at Wolves has had none here, while the other who cost over x3 has had little impact even when West Ham are doing so well...unless I've been missing all his good games.

The difference in price between Kightly and Jarvis was completely disproportionate to the difference in their ability. I think we definitely got the better deal.

If I'm not asleep before the game, I'll certainly be asleep during it.

Always pisses me off when I see that slap. Not because God slapped the captain but the way Carlton Cole goes running straight to the ref. Cunt. I miss Rico so much.

I really can't see us getting anything from this unfortunately. Would be thrilled with a point.

There's no doubt Jarvis is a good player but for the price difference I think Kightly has been a great signing. Jarvis left, Kightly right would have been nice.

They'll either dick us or we'll dick them.

With our stupidly big pool of centre midfielders suddenly being completely wiped out I can see us reverting to type tonight with two banks of four making us hard to break down and Matty staying in the team to hopefully have a stormer against his old team. Bego
Wilko Shawcross Huth Cameron
Kightly N'Zonzi Edu/Palacios Matty
Walters
Crouch I'll be amazed if it isn't some form of binary score.

Mr Mullet's been on SSN saying On SSN saying that Wilko and Adam are both facing late fitness tests.

Fuck that Geoff on the left, Ness on the right.
When was the last time we were so screwed over by injuries? Minus the FA Cup final of course.
