Very happy with that point, first half was as good as I've seen us play this season and second half we had to dig in deep against a good side in good form. Though Adam was abit off the pace again and Ethers didn't have a great game but neither were terrible. This new system doesn't seem to be getting the best out of Adam or Crouch though in my opinion. When we play it more like a 433 with Kightly and Walters running in picking up Crouch's knock downs it lets Adam sit back a little more and spray his passes, when he's playing as a CF and Crouch is up top on his own it's fucking useless.

How the hell did we manage to sign N'Zonzi? Especially at the price we did. Ridiculous!
God knows how he wasn't snapped up by one of the top 6.

1st half - Only 1 team that was going win and that was us & if N'Zonzi's shot went in, we'd of won the game 100%.
2nd half - First 15mins very slow & sloppy, after that it was fairly balanced with them sneeking it I suppose.
Crouch once again isolated upfront, Shawcross' England nightmare is in his head still I think, Never play Wilko unless he's fit happened too many times with him coming off early after being rushed back & Ethers once again showing glimpses just wasnt his day today; but im happy with a point and alot more confident going into Saturday & Wednesday than I was after last week.

I didn't think that Ethers was that bad, linked up play quite well. He also took on players, although not as much as I'd like.

Considering by the start of the season I thought he was done at the club but since hes done terrific, hope Pulis sticks by him for the next couple of games...but that means at the expense of Kightly which is annoying me even if Walters did score (which was a fantastic goal & Premier League Channel thing first blamed it being a foul in the build up & then offside, couldnt give us credit, but when you have 2 Ex-West Ham Players, an ex-West Ham manager & 2 other London based pundits/experts its no fucking surprise).

I thought Etherington played well too Sam, looking more like his former, on-form self rather than the shadow we got last season

Think Gary Neville had a tear in his eye when he was analysing our goal. "I won't go through it again like I did at half time," he said. He went through it again like he did at half time. Loved it.
Decent away performance considering the run they've been on. Couple of worried farts popped out but I thought we were always good value for a point after our first half performance.

Was good to see some interaction between Neville and Tone, rather than a carbon copy interview.
He's easily the best pundit by a country fucking mile. What the hell happened to him?

Neville is the only pundit who you can watch and feel that after his analysis, you can go away feeling that youve learned something new about the sport.
BBC could really learn something from him, can anyone really imagine Mark Lawrenson going through that goal like Neville did last night. MOTD looks incredibly shoddy compared to Monday Night Football.

Lawro would be too busy having a dig at Lineker or someone.
"So, Mark, what did you think of Walters' goal?"
"Better than any you've ever scored, Gary."
"Yes, but what about the goal?"
"Ask Alan. I'm not here to analyse goals. I'm just here to look fat and make shit jokes."
Did anybody see Hansen on MOTD the other week. It might have been MOTD2 and I think he was with Jason Roberts and Michael Owen. He was asking them how many they'd scored this season and looking all smug when they said none. Owen looked like he was ready to kick off big style.
BBC - Big Bloody Cunts.

Lawrenson looks like a sack of spuds slouched in that chair ;D There's one particular shirt he brings out regularly, one of the two button jobs (why? ) which really makes him look a lumpy fat bastard ;D As if Hansen knew how many goals Owen and Roberts had scored before a researcher whispered in his ear! MoTD is shit 9 times out of ten, I rarely bother with it these days.

Hansen is really starting to lose it, I reckon they'll get rid of him and Lawro next year. If he isn't blindly defending Liverpool and Suarez whilst slating their opponents he's criticising players that haven't even been on the pitch. He made a right knob of himself Saturday too, I think it was Vincent Kompany who was sitting next to him. After the Man Utd game highlights (which was the late kick-off) he asked Kompany if that result affected the Man City dressing room - Kompany said, "no, we played before them." Hansen started to backtrack and Lineker had to cut him short before he ruined the Man City score. Remember when he said that the only keeper that had dealt with the long throw well so far was Petr Cech (who hadn't played against us)? Spack bastard.

Yeah, the discerning look from Lineker and "Alan.... Alan..." like he was a Dementia patient going off on one in a care home. Proper awkward between him and Kompany.
