Brilliant stuff, absolutely awesome performance (bar the first minute.)
Main negative point is that Suarez hasn't got any broken bones, but apart from that an absolutely brilliant performance and a fantastic result.
Seriously though, how awful must their defence be to concede 3 against us ;D

STOKE 3 LIVERPOOL 1 Well you can take the mickey out of Stoke, but I have to say that this was as enjoyable and impressive a performance as I have seen in the League all season. They battered Liverpool for 90 minutes and the fitness, power, and discipline on display was mighty impressive. They also showed heart to dust themselves down after going behind to a penalty in the first minute. They just set about Liverpool like a pack of wild animals. I for one thought it was great to watch, not too much football to write home about, but a great sporting spectacle. Kenwyne Jones was magnificent, Jonathan Walters strong and skilful for his two goals, and Matthew Etherington a constant threat on the break. Great atmosphere, too. The Liverpool players stuck to it gamely, Suarez especially ran his heart out. I think it's legitimate to ask why Brendan Rodgers found himself having to play Stoke at their game, and why he couldn't - with the superior resources at his disposal - find a tactic to unsettle Stoke. In any sport, surely it's about making the opponent play on your terms, not theirs? Still, he couldn't fault the effort he got from his boys, but Liverpool were beaten fair and square. Even so, they are still only ten points off third place. In its own way, a really enjoyable end to Boxing Day. Thanks a lot for following it with us, we will be back to live blog the next set of Premier League matches, which are on Saturday. Have a great evening. Cheers. www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/9766220/Stoke-City-v-Liverpool-live.html

Waheyyyyyyyyyyyy! ;D ;D
Classic.
I'm certain they put the managers seat in the away dugout facing the wrong way? What the bloody fucking could he have possibly been watching to think his side were better?! Genuinely don't know where he is coming from...

RODGERS: "Stoke play a brand of football where sometimes they get lucky. We can comfort ourselves with the fact we were the better team." Rodgers: what a complete tool. Bloody brilliant game and no way were they better. I would complain about the ref being a complete tool as well but I think that penalty decision spurred us on. Why the fuck did he book Geoff and none of the Liverpool players for very similar offences? On a slightly different note, CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE BUY GEOFF SOME BLOODY STUDS!

Don't think it's been said but Shawcross is out for the Southampton game after 5 yellows
Glad it's against a shit team but a big loss to the organisation. Upson is more than capable of cover though

Not good that Ryan and Huth are going to be split up for Soton. Quite lucky that we're at home and they aren't one of the better teams in the league, (although still a dangerous one.)
Really don't know what our back 4 will be. If Geoff is suspended too then it's a joke, never a yellow in a million years. Crap decision from Webb among a variety of other crap decisions from him.
