I expected nothing from this game except, if we were really lucky, a point at the very most
What frustrates me is that we've shown we can actually have a proper fucking go of it like we did at Old Trafford. We were a half-decent/average defensive performance away from a point that day
Our Plan A, if not our only "plan", today was to camp out in our 18 yard box. That's not a plan, that's hoping we hold on for dear life and get a point or maybe nick it ala Spurs away a few years back. We're better than that, we've proven we're better than that
Add to the fact that we couldn't even do the basics right like stringing two passes together and it's an incredibly frustrating and annoying performance

We were never, ever going to get anything from that match, and we've come out of it with no injuries or suspensions. Just over halfway through the season now, and we've got Old Trafford, WHL, Anfield, The Etihad and Stamford Bridge out of the way, (and after playing at all those, we're 8th!)
Out of the top 10 in the league, we only have to play 3 away from home now, (Swansea, Arsenal, Everton,) so we've got pretty much all of the hardest matches out of the way, so it should be a cracking next 18 matches.

I don't expect us to get anything from our next 2 league games either
And I fancy a draw on Saturday

We'll beat Chelsea by the way.

Even if we'd have performed at 100% all over the pitch, the probability is that we would have lost anyway. It's disappointing given the run we've had as we should have a fair bit of confidence.
Ahhh well, we move on.

As I've said on twitter, I expected nothing, we got nothing BUT like most I'm unhappy with how we lost I'd rather us go out there & give it a go, but from the 1st 20 seconds you realise it was a sitting back job, but another thing we went out there with an attacking line-up to defend ;D so fucking strange. We'll get something vs Chelsea we let ourselves down performance wise.

Who's jealous of a football club like this..? Never mind the Hoff, who is the giant potato headed man on the far right? As for today's result, I'm just glad I can finally wash my lucky 07/08 away top which I've worn every matchday for the last 12 games.

I didn't pay attention to this game at all. Had a mid day nap and woke up to my phone alerting me of the first goal.
It's quite easy to ignore football when you're playing Man City.
