I cleared a d gritted next doors path seeing as there about 90, not a drop of snow there now! I guess if there's any burglars in the area they'll head for next door (as opposed to mine) as there won't be any risk of footprint evidence. pisser. love the logic behind that, now go and burgal them |

Staffordshire Moorlands had more snow overnight but nothing major but the gritters have not been out and the roads are terrible.A journey that normally takes me 5 mins has just taken me 90 mins.

Snow is great fun but the best bit is the disruption and chaos it causes.

Normally i would but i started my shift at 10pm Sunday when the roads were fine.Come 6am and i had already started to come home in the car i didn't want to leave it dumped anywhere.Normally the gritters are good around here on the main A520 but last night i'm convinced they did not grit. Just been outside any it is bucketing it down again...looks like i will be walking tonight.Off to bed now. |

I don't think a single gritter has visited Bentilee since the snow started. Cars can get up beverley drive ok but anything as large or larger than a transit has just slid back down again.

Vicki road hadn't been gritted this morning. Was fun on the gym carpark though.
Seems to be drizzling now, not getting sent home today so fuck off and don't snow again please.

It is a bit strange, if the council are refusing to grit places when its snowed and is icy, what are they actually saving the grit for?
