Back from a snowboarding trip in the French Alps. 1) not only was there more snowfall in the UK than my resort whilst I was away but 2) got stuck in Geneva Airport on the way home for 6 hours as the runway was shut because more snow had fallen on it in one hour than my resort had had in a week (still less than the uk had).  |

Had a great night in the pub looking out of the window, only saw one vehicle sliding all over the place and that was a four-by-four with a fool driving it. The snow plow gritter lorry did London Road in Stoke three times and some cute young (but legal) ladies waved at me twice.
