Fucking big day for me folks Taking my lad to his first stoke game at the brit. Will be a proud as fuck moment when we step on that train. Just got the tickets this morning, block 31 right at the front, got to make sure he can see 40 quid for both tickets and 2 x train fare. Can't be bad eh! Always loved the FA cup. Block 31 is where all the best people sit

There were some absolute morons at the match today, and some proper scum too.
We played pretty well, and looked back to our old defensive selves for the majority of the game after conceding so many recently. A loss is much better than a draw, which would have essentially meant a delayed loss and having to play an extra game.

Think both sides looked poor. We looked really leggy and devoid of any intent to attack. Etherington was wank, failed in nearly everythng he tried, Keightly was 'JESUSHATESCHRIST' levels of toss and it's uncomfortable watching us use long throws again.

I thought we were meh in the first half, had some real good pressure in the first 20mins of thesecond and then bringing Crouch on was a bad move. They had lots of half chances, nothing brilliant, and they have some bloomin good players who played well. Shame we're out if the cup but today was much better than some other of our performances recently.

"We played more open than we normally do at home.
"In a cup-tie you want to catch them and have a go at them. You have got to give City a lot of credit. Their attitude and approach was first class.
"By playing as open as we did, against the best teams, it always gives them an opportunity to attack and create chances and I thought they did that well.
"Although we are disappointed to have lost the game, and lost it in the last few minutes, you have got to give City a lot of credit.
"Unfortunately, when you come up against the best teams, they need to be a little below par, and you need to be right on top of your game and we weren't right on top of our game today."

Shotton, Keightly and Etherington; please find the nearest exit. Least we only let 1 in. Add Wilkinson into that as well, and maybe Walters just not good enough at this level. I thought ethers was at least trying to get down the line. Pulis should have Jones on.

They hadn't been to a game in years Some of his quotes Kightly is a good player Jones isn't any good and he's lazy Etherington is the only dribbler on the pitch Bollocks I've forgotten some other classics - that's me, not him Drove me nuts, talk in to each other in a weird way as if they hadn't seen each other in years and it was strained before.
