I'll fix another link of yours again, DaftCunt ;D I like some of Banksy's work but that wall does look much cleaner and easier on the eyes now it's been whitewashed so I don't see the problem

They always look alright for me ;D I really like Banksy's stuff to be honest. The most amazing thing is that the bloke has never heard of him

It is art, and it is vandalism too.
I'd be pretty pissed if mr Banks defaced the side of my property (unless I could cash in on it of course!).
Where do you draw the line though? some little scrote defacing a subway is vandalism, give it ten years when he's heard of and it's art???

You would be absolutely loaded if you protected it before you announced it would be for sale. Otherwise Banksy would throw paint all over it to stop you cashing in on his work* Some people in Bristol had one on their house, and they put it up for sale as a piece of art with a free house included. It was "vandalised" before they could go through with a sale. *allegedly

much of his work is very much location based And stencilled-not done freehand! He has to be quick so stencilling is the quickest option, its not necessarily the easiest though as his stencils are hand cut using his own typefaces for the most part. Hours of studio work could have gone in to those few letters. The time he sneaked in to the British Museum and added artifacts and paintings was genius...
