I thought he looked ok, I just can't see TP liking the flicks and tricks though, which is where I disagreed! We shall see though if that's the case, if it's not and he signs then great! Looked better than fucking Tom Soares. Again? 3 people agree with me re N'Zonzi! Again, it's You crazy young cats, I think we should sell Delap for £20 million, fair price!

Fuck all donkey, look at the Copa America thread in the betting bit! I tried gambling on football twice, disaster! ;D SRF- ;D but he wasn't, he was on leave I still think it's fucking madness though, we're being quoted €8 million for Sissoko, which seems fair and people want to pay the same for N'Zonzi! ;D He might be worth £5-7 million in 2/3 years time but not now!

That's because Sissoko doesn't play in England hence strengthening my point on the inflated, but right, price for N'Zonzi ;D And even there, you're suggesting N'Zonzis worth will increase so it'd be daft to not sign him when he's a little bit cheaper than what he might become

How does it? It's simply Your opinion which I think is wrong even with this market (which I've already said-simply because of what he has and hasn't done)! They're in shit street financially too, it's time to fleece the cunts. As for that Aussie trialist, I'm warming to him now I know he won't take up a squad place this season, could be worth the gamble on that. But he did have a trial with Brum the other day though and they weren't impressed with him either apparently

I have taken into account and still think he isn't worth it! We paid 3 rising to 5 for Whitehead which I think is over the odds because I wouldn't pay peanuts for him but he had more experience in the Premier League and in the English leagues in general. And Sunderland always rip us off! N'Zonzi has had 2 seasons, one of them poor and has done next to nothing to be worth more than £3 million considering Blackburn bought him for 500k! We'll never agree on this! ;D But if we could do a deal similar to that of the Whitehead one it would be ok. He's 21 in October, I thought he was 21 already so wouldn't count as an U-21 but I think he would after looking at the rules. In keeping with UEFA guidelines, an Under 21 player is defined as one who is under the age of 21 on 1st January in the year in which the season commences. For the 2010/11 campaign Under 21 players will have been born on or after 1st January 1989.
Is the rule but that was from last season so it will be 1st of Jan 1990 and he was born apparently on 26.10.1990, so he should count, right?

We won't ever agree on it ;D I do, however, agree that a structured deal would be better. Say, £4-5mill up front rising to £6-7mill. Bigger transfer because he's better than Whitehead. Sorted He'd be classed as Under 21 so he wouldn't take up a place in the 25 man squad registration thingy and also I don't think he'd take up a place in the Europa League squad registration either (going off Footy Manager rules here ;D )

I think 2.5 million rising to 5m based on appearing for France 200 times and other similar clauses! Yeah I think he would, it could be worth it based on that. I guess it depends on what TP thinks of him, if he would be used as the back up wing option or just bought as one for the future and TP's plans for Marshall.

We'll leave it at that and leave it to Tones judgement ;D On the plus side, at least we haven't had anyone barge in and call us both cunts like you'd get elsewhere* I liked the look of Marshall last night as well, he's going to be a good player. I reckon loaning him out to a Championship club, thus taking him up a notch would do him some good. He looked to be struggling towards the end of the first half to me though but it's no wonder after that horrible leg break *Cunt

;D Git face! An underused insult imo! I thought Marshall was barged off the ball a bit too easy last night but I agree, get him out to a Championship club and get him games. If we sign no one in between now and the Hajduk game mind I'd have him on the bench. Even if we signed a striker, I'd rather see Marshall given a go than Pugh on the wing.

Thought the same but then again he's not a striker I don't get TP at times. He's a proper winger yet he's trying to shoehorn him upfront yet he did the opposite with Greenacre, Cresswell and Asaba ;D

;D Very true! At the moment I guess it's a case of needs must, we have no other strikers, so he could easily be on the bench because of that alone. I think the squad has to be named tomorrow and then we can add only one to it before matchday.

Not a clue, I just remember reading that for this round. I would hope that You can name a completely new squad for the group stages (if we make it) seeing as it's still the transfer window now. And then do the changes for the knockouts.

Going off memory from Footy Manager but it's been a while since I had a side so shit that it was in the Europa League rather than the Champions League ;D
