MOTD at 10.30pm: 1.Swansea/ManUtd, 2.Arsenal/Villa, 3.Norwich/Everton, 4.L'pool/Stoke, 5.WestHam/Cardiff, 6.WBA/Saints, 7.S'land/Fulham
Thought we would be higher than fourth on MOTD's running order. Hope they show our chances and not just spaff themselves over Liverpool.

Well that was pretty exciting. I can't quite believe that it's Stoke we were watching. I know we lost but I feel greatly optimistic, even with our lack of mobility up front which I'm sure Sparky will remedy.
Hughes looked like he appreciated the 'Hughes' barmy army' chant and stayed to clap all the lads off at the end and clapped us in the away end, nice touch.
I read on the OC he didn't do a post match interview as he's gone to 'scout' abroad, maybe he's going to sort fucking Hannover once and for all.
If Walters takes one more penalty, I'm going to run down to the pitch and break his fucking legs. Why there's all this spaffing for Mingiolet I'll never know, it's not hard to 'research' that Walters always puts it in the bottom left. Fucking wank penalty taker.
Whelan looked like he struggled to keep the pace of our passing and quite often got dispossessed.
Pennant played well, Etherington is done, we need to get rid and get someone in quick if we're going to score from the flanks.
Hairy Potter is a fucking embarrassment, faux celebrity, self indulgent, smelly cunt.
Nearly had to smash some gobshites teeth in but fortunately he got thrown out because they thought it was a good idea to stand in front of us in our row. Some of our 'fans' are throwback scum.
Other than that, it's properly exciting knowing we're trying to progress and it's not just words and tired phrases anymore.

Gone to Nice v Rennes apparently Lew,
Was much better to watch, even though we lost, we've parked the bus and got stuffed 4-0 before at least we had a go when we can. Shame about WP late withdrawal and minor operation, would upset MH's plans 2 mobile forwards and another pacy winger and remove walters whelan crouch etherington. When is Shea due back?

What happened to WP then? Took about 10 minutes after they announced the players that we realised he wasn't on. I think Shea's 3-5 weeks depending on his recovery / match fitness.

Palacios had severe stomach pains in the warm up, went straight to hospital and has had a minor op. Sounds like appendicitis, but obviously could be wrong.
Gutted for him though, after all his work pre-season to get into Hughes' preferred XI, this happens.

Jamie Redknapp and Garth Crooks both have Mignolet in their teams of the week over Begovic ;D

Mignolet was more flappy than Susan Boyle's minge and, penalty save aside, he was miles behind the quality of Bego.
